Hi, I’m Rachael!
I’m the Founder and Creative Director of Marjorie Jean. Marjorie Jean was born from my love for art, creativity, passion for preserving life’s most cherished moments, and a desire to bring fresh, innovative ideas to a high-end market that is often overlooked.
Inspired by my grandmother, Marjorie, a woman of remarkable talent and creativity, I hope to carry forward her legacy by blending artistry and craftsmanship into every piece I create. My work isn’t just about preserving flowers; it’s about preserving memories, ensuring they can be beautifully displayed and celebrated for years to come.
I am from Council Bluffs, IA where I was born and raised. I am a lucky mama to two little girls and have been married to my husband, Clayton, for 10 years. We enjoy spending time outside gardening, creating new fun art projects with our girls, or finding the latest home DIY project we said we would stop doing the project before. Creativity lives at the heart of our family, and I would love to share that creativity with you!
In Memory oF
Marjorie Jean
My grandmother, Marjorie Jean, was born and raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She married my grandfather, LeRoy, in 1954 and passed away unexpectedly in 1999. Though our time together was cut short, my memories of her are full of creativity, love, and the beautiful things she made.
She had an incredible artistic gift. She hand-sewed all my doll clothes and Halloween costumes, and my first communion dress. When she and my grandfather briefly lived in Arkansas for his job, she would send me boxes filled with handmade treasures. Everything she created was thoughtful, detailed, and made with so much care.
Marjorie Jean is my way of carrying on her legacy—honoring the art of making something meaningful by hand and preserving memories in a way that lasts. Whenever I think about her, I think of the quote that is something like you die twice in life. Once when you physically die. The other when someone says your name for the last time. I was lucky enough to inherit my grandmother’s artistic abilities, and Marjorie Jean is my way of keeping her alive in spirit forever.
What Sets Us Apart
Professional-Grade Materials
We use high-quality epoxy and custom molds — no Amazon or Temu shortcuts here.
Tailored Epoxy for Each Project
Different projects call for different formulas. We select the best epoxy based on size, shape, and finish.
Sourced from U.S. Small Businesses
All our materials come from trusted, U.S.-based small businesses.
Built to Last
Our epoxy includes UV inhibitors, and every bloom is treated with a floral-safe “sunscreen” to prevent yellowing, fading, or deterioration over time.
A Polished, Professional Finish
Pieces are poured in premium molds to ensure a smooth, high-gloss surface — no bubbles, warping, or cloudiness.
